Hillwood Group was established in 1995 in Chungam, Feroke — one of Kerala's historic centres of the timber trade — with a single intention: to build an export-grade hardwood processing operation.
From the outset, the business imported Burmese teak directly from Myanmar, processed it at a modern mill in Feroke, and shipped finished timber to buyers in the Gulf. The approach was simple: control the supply chain from log to container, keep documentation clean, and let the timber do the selling.
Three decades later, the formula is unchanged. Hillwood ships Burmese teak, Indian teak, Merbau, Rubberwood, furniture and custom millwork to 15 active markets across four continents — and every consignment leaves with a mill certificate.

Every log, slab and board that leaves Hillwood has been processed, graded and certified in-house — at our own mill in Feroke, not outsourced.
We kiln-dry to buyer specification (8–12% MC standard; tighter on request), saw to your section dimensions, dress to D4S or custom profile, bundle and band for FCL or LCL loading, and produce all documentation — phytosanitary, fumigation, CITES, mill certificate — before the container is sealed.
